Radio Solaire Livorno

Radio Solaire Livorno is a project by Federico Bacci, Francesco Eppesteingher, Giorgio Lolli, and Massimo Carozzi conceived for the city of Livorno.

Giorgio Lolli, during a 2-day workshop, explained, designed and built a radio in Livorno in every way similar to those he has installed in Africa for more than 40 years.
The low-power (20W) FM radio signal occupied one frequency with a two-hour broadcast: music, excerpts from interviews, original noises from Africa reconstructed the atmosphere and the idea of a radio at the service of the community and within everyone’s reach.
